Dané (Da-neh)

Dané is a goddess of truth and divination, and her followers despise those who lie and create illusions above all. They are controversial due to their "obsession" with truth, oft revealing secrets most believe should stay hidden. They are typically scholars, judges or investigators. Dané's realm, Kithairon, manifests as a great ocean with no surface and her temples are usually on the coastline with sacrifices placed in bags tied down with rocks and thrown from boats.

Appearance and symnols

Dané is often portrayed as a beautiful elven woman with white hair flowing around her, either cloaked in volumonous robes befitting her 'mysterious fortune teller' image or near naked - representing her truth.
Her symbol is two eyes closed with a third, open eye above. Distuingished high priests have on occasion been rewarded with this third eye, and with it the ability to see through illusions and tell when people are lying.
Her 'dragon' is the Dragon Turtle.
She has no specific holy animal, all sea creatures are under her protection.
