Nova

Nova is the patron deity of the courts, and was honored as one of the three main deities of The Alyssian Empire. Nova stands for a clear legislation that does not differentiate between rich and poor, where an empress and a peasant faces the same consequences for the same crime - but she still wishes to take the accused's circumstances into consideration. It is not just important to punish wrongdoings, we must find out why the crime was comitted - as a central teaching of Nova is that no one is born with the desire to hurt others. Only by understanding why crimes are comitted can we prevent them.
Novas followers outside of her monasteries are typically defense lawyers, though this occupation is rare in the current age. Her monasteries typically hand out food  and shelter to the needy, believing that most crimes can be prevented by meeting everyone's basic needs. Their main source of recruitment are former criminals, oprhans and other unfortunate souls that once came to them seeking shelter, who find enlightment and peace with the godess.

Nova is typically depicted as a woman, either blind or blindfolded, carrying her symbol - a set of scales.
She is typically associated with gold and silver dragons.
