Thraxian Kingdom
The Thraxian Kingdom is located in the North-West border of the Pharsian Empire, and the border the Theph and the Gracosian Kingdom to the East, The Sapphire Sea to the west and the Phoenix Sea to the east. Most of Thraxia is covered in light forests and hills, with mountainous regions marking their borders. Thraxia is a land of crude stone-walled cities and wooden huts, with a few nomadic Thraxian tribes roaming the hilly countryside while most of the people live in the cities or the villages surrounding them.
Structure
Thraxia is ruled by a king, a descendant of Orgret, the warrior who united the warring clans to face Pharsian aggression over a century ago. The King of Thraxia has a great deal of personal power, but its the clan leaders who rule the largest cities on Thraxia that ultimately confer him legitimacy. As such, the king must walk a fine line between keeping clan leaders happy without appearing weak-willed, since an iron fist is needed to keep them from fighting. On top of that, there are many still nomadic or isolated tribes in Thrax that do not accept the king's authority, and will sometimes raid settlements and sometimes cities before disappearing back on the hills before the local soldiers can track them. As such, the Thraxian king is often on a semi-permanent war, moving armies around his lands to try and dissuade the unruly tribes from attacking, as well as swinging around his weight to keep the Clan Chiefs in line.
