"Throughout the years, many variations of the Royal Family have come and gone and their choice in dress has been a constant stem of rumors for those of us not blessed by the divines to be among them in the Jade District. The Queens have especially been known far and wide for their extensive (and expensive) wardrobes. Unfortunately, it appears we're in for a rather abrupt change in that regard with the marriage of King Reiten and now Queen Lanaela.
While the wedding featured a gorgeous and elegant gown, rumored to be produced by the legendary tailor Arin Veile from the Queen's home country of Zulrin, that has been the extent of our showcase. Since then, the Queen has worn nothing but simple dresses, citing her desire for more "functional" clothing and chastising the very concept of dresses. I would never dream of criticizing the Queen, but I cannot help but worry that her Zulrin roots and beliefs might crumble the entirety of our delicate society. It is my hope that her Highness reconsiders this decision and wear clothes more appropriate for a woman and especially a woman of her stature. The future of this publication depends on it!"
