Humans are a race of people originating from the continent of Caldresia. Like many of the other races found in this world, they come in variants of all sizes and skin tone. Human history is considered to be culturally diverse, with several unique cultures originating from various corners of Caldresia. In the current era, these cultures have blended together to represent a larger picture of how diverse Humanity is. Most Humans in Caldresia define themselves by their allegiance to their local kingdom rather than physical appearance or religious beliefs.
The Humans who travel beyond Caldresia's landscapes find themselves able to adapt to any society they engage with. They are naturally curious and tend to be builders of diverse communities. Their ambitions are often admired by the races whose lifespans safely outnumber that of Humans by centuries.
Character Stats
Age. Humans reach adulthood in their late teens and live less than a century.
Size. Humans vary widely in height and build, from barely 5 feet to well over 6 feet tall. Regardless of your position in that range, your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one extra language of your choice. Humans typically learn the languages of other peoples they deal with, including obscure dialects.
Ability Score Increase. Two different ability scores of your choice increase by 1.
Skills. You gain proficiency in one skill of your choice.
