Tells the story of Page, a kenku who became a cleric of Ryvian. It goes into how he met Ikeeus the ursine wizard, the two of whom became fast friends. Then came Nathai, a female storm goliath who was a sorcerer, who added to their group a new perspective on magic. After her came Wolf, the shifter druid who shared with them the mysteries of nature. With him was Valgwyn the female elf ranger whose level head often kept them safe.
Alokea and Ozrius were the final two to become part of the group of friends, a locathan paladin and tiefling monk respectively.
The tale goes into their early days adventuring together, doing odd jobs here and there learning about the multiverse and its wonders. Slowly the song turns from a joyous tale of adventure and shows them as battle weary souls as they combat what they call the Fiarsidhe, or, Astral Fae. They are described as Fae too horrible for the Faewyld, and too dangerous to be banished to the prime material. Instead they were sent to the Astral, where they floated among the sea and became cold hunters of all life.
Their king they defeated multiple times, only to find him return later with his astral ships and fae. Resolved to remove him as a problem they sealed him away with the help of a child of the gods, Yull. Some of these heroes had far more in mind though, and convinced Yull to help them once more. Ikeeus brought them all to his demiplane, where he fashioned a plan to lock Caanae away from the outer planes entirely, using Yull and his celestial nature, they fashioned an object of brilliant light and power that hid Caanae. It was imperfect however, and a leak of the astral sea began to spill forth into Caanae, hiding entire portions of the world from one another. Not only that, but Yull was also transformed by the process, become a creature far more terrifying than any of them had anticipated.
Ikeeus, Nathai, Wolf and Valgwyn were firm in their resolve against the outer planes, and created the Font of Celestia, from which they could set themselves up as demi-gods. Page, Alokea and Ozirus began to doubt their purpose, and stood against them, only to be defeated at their hand. Only Ozirus lived, who found himself a new world in which he lived the rest of his days repenting for his part.
Those who remained at the Font used magic called the Incantation of Lies Made Truth to manipulate the knowledge and minds of those on the material plane to set aside the gods in celestia and instead worship that which they put in the books as part of the Incantation. Page laments his part, and the story goes on to tell of him arriving in the heavens regardless, and making his way to the great library of Ryvian where he would spend the rest of eternity reading and studying.
