The Night that was Day

Summary

One night, long ago, when the Giants held dominion over the world, the sky lit up with streaks of fire so great that it seemed as if it was day. The streaks carried with them meteors that impacted the world and cast it into flame and ash. From the craters emerged the Dragons, and chief among them, Zindraaldein and Ausdremwuld. Zindraaldein called forth the Giants from their hiding places, and wished to work with them to turn the world back into a place full of life again. Ausdremwuld coveted that which the Giants had built and ruled, and plotted against them.
