The Frostwood
The northernmost forest of Meranthis, the Frostwood is both ancient and mysterious. Thick with sentinel trees and soldier pines, it is a dark and gloomy place. As the forests extends into Jorungloss, the pines become frozen and topped with snow, and yet the trees remain alive. Whether by some magic or miracle, the people of the True Kingdom consider this an omen of the dangers of Jorungloss. Despite this, small villages of hunters and woodsman live within the forest, making a living from the natural wood and the creatures that dwell within.
