The True Kingdom
The True Kingdom is the largest of the lands of Meranthis, and also its breadbasket. The land is filled with rivers and dotted with forests, and patchwork farms and villages huddle amidst the shelter of larger cities. Four cities make up the bulk of the True Kingdom’s population, each one once a proud city-state that pledged their loyalty to the kingdom – Bretyngaard, Gapingwall, Meldhaven, and Kingsmeet. The True Kingdom is ruled responsibly by the Amarates Dynasty, and each great city is represented by a Lord or Lady. It is also Meranthis’s first defense against the northern dangers of Jorungloss, and it is thanks to the staunch men and women of the True Kingdom that Jorungloss remains an idle threat.
