A trading empire is beginning to emerge from the newfound wealth of a hobgoblin-owned mining company.

Clan Cobol, a hobgoblin-led troop of miners operating just north of the great canyon Melchedion, apparently defied expectations and struck it rich in one (or several) of the deposits they were mining, and have begun to quickly establish a strong trade network in the region.

They call themselves The Ferric Envoy, and are led by the patron of the clan, Ediuf Cobol.

Their success has proven to be a boon to nations on both sides of the North Irosan Wall, as they can much more easily travel the barrier with their wares than the dwarves of Dhegohm. This has created a tense rivalry between the two organizations.
