The Archon/Archoness should be able to make informed decisions regarding resource management, adaptation to the new environment, and potentially even decontamination efforts.   Diplomacy and Negotiation: The ability to foster cooperation and forge alliances with other barge communities or potential settlements encountered will be essential.

Requirements

Citizenship: The Archon/Archoness must be a registered citizen of Lugdia, demonstrating a deep understanding of the kingdom's history, culture, and the struggles faced by the people.   Age Requirement: Must be at least 25 years old.

Appointment

Currently the citizens of Kingdom of Lugdia participate in a puble elction. Candidates debate their qualifications, visions for the future, and plans for rebuilding Kingdom of Lugdia.

Duties

Leading the Exodus: The Archon/Archoness steers the barge communities, making critical decisions about resource allocation, navigation, and potential interactions with the outside world.   Preserving Knowledge: The Archon/Archoness oversees the safeguarding and transmission of Lugdia's vast knowledge base, ensuring scientific advancements and cultural heritage are not lost.   Fostering Cooperation: The Archon/Archoness works to maintain peace and cooperation among the various barge communities, promoting a sense of unity and shared purpose.   Planning for the Future: The Archon/Archoness is responsible for developing long-term plans for Lugdia's future, whether it be finding a new home, adapting to life at sea, or potentially returning to a decontaminated homeland.

The well-being and safety of the citizens holds the utmost importance.   Effective resource management is crucial for the survival of the barge communities.   Maintaining hope and morale in the face of an uncertain future is a vital responsibility.   Leading the exploration of potential new settlements or ways to decontaminate Lugdia.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

Loss of Public Confidence: If the Archon/Archoness makes repeated decisions that significantly endanger the well-being of the people, the Council of Advisors will remove the Archon/Archoness and new elections will be held.
