During The Schism: Third World War, nuclear detonations ravaged the landscape, blanketing vast swaths of the kingdom in radioactive fallout. In the aftermath, a desperate exodus unfolded. Lugdia, once a beacon of progress, became a poisoned chalice. The survivors, those fortunate enough to escape the immediate devastation, clung to whatever means of escape they could find.
Lugdia's famed shipbuilding industry provided a glimmer of hope. Twenty-six massive barges, originally constructed for grand expeditions, were repurposed into floating sanctuaries.
