Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Lysander is in excellent physial condition, his lean and muscular frame honned by years of trekking though harsh environments. His physical stamina and endurance are among his greatest assets. These allow him ot survive where others might collapse from exhaustion or injury.

Identifying Characteristics

Silver-white hair and gray eyes, are unusual for his relatively young age, and earned him the nickname "Silver."

The scar on his left cheek is a constant reminder of the Eaters' attack.

Physical quirks

Lysander does 2 things:

• Scan the horizon

• Constantly checking his surroundings

These quirks developed from years of living on the edge of danger and these are a naturual reflex whenever he enters anew environment.

Special abilities

While Lysander doesn't possess any supernatural abilities, he has an almost uncanny ability to read the terrain and navigate through even the most treacherous areas. He's also able to sense danger in environments other might overlook, which has save his life as well as the lives of his fellow Pathfinders many times.

Apparel & Accessories

He wears practical, weathered clothing, suited for life in the wilderness: durable boots, a long leather coat, and a belt with pouches for carrying tools and relics. His most notable accessory is a pendant that holds a small relic, one he hasn't figured out yet, but believes may hold clues to the Eaters.

Specialized Equipment

Machete: His weapon of choice, heavily relied on for both combat and survival tasks.

Relic Decoder: A small tool and paper codes to help decipher ancient texts and symbols. A combination tool Lysander developed and has used to great effect during his explorations.

Encrypted Map: A handheld device created by the Frontier Pathfinders to show the entirety of Caelum Prime as well as what's going on in it.

Personal history

Born and raised in Erkalen to parents who were traders, Lysander became fascinated with the past and with exploration as he explored the ancient site where the Battle of Erkalen happened and traveled with his parents. They were the ones who taught him survival skills. This lead to a deep love for the land and its mysteries.

Tragedy struck near his 21st birthday. Erkalen was attacked by Eaters. A team from the Frontier Pathfinders helped protect the town but their arrival didn't come in time to save his parents. Depsite the survivor's guilt haunting him, Lysander didn't blame the Frontier Pathfinders. This guilt and his need to solve the mysteries of the past, plus figuring out the mystery of why the Eaters attacked Erkalen, had him joining the Frontier Pathfinders.

His years with the Frontier Pathfinders has been a distinguished one. He's earned the unwavering loyalty and love of his fellow Frontier Pathfinders and is an expert in ancient relics, the end of days and the Guardian of Caelum Prime.

Education

Lysander has never had a formal eduction. His schooling came from life experiences, starting with the trips he made with his parents. From his parents and other traders, he learned survival skills, tracking and combat. His education in these areas continued with the Frontier Pathfinders. Over time, he develpoed a deep knowledge of ancient relics, self-taught through years of studying ruins and the relics found in them during his expeditions.

Employment

Lysander is a highly respected member of the Frontier Pathfinders. His survival expetise and proficiency with a machete has made him invaluable on high-risk expeditions. As his knowledge of ancient relics has grown, he has become the go to person for figuring out the unknown. He's also become a mentor to incoming Pathfinders.

Failures & Embarrassments

• Loss of His Parents:
• Lysander's greatest failure is the loss of his parents to an Eaters attak. He blames himself for thier deaths, believing he could have done something to prevent it. This failure still haunts him, and while other do not see him as responsible, it remains a core part of him.
• Reluctance to Form Bonds:
• Lysander has a hard time emotionally connecting with others. This is a personal flaw and a source of embarrassment. It has alienated a few, especially women, leaving him somewhat isolated from others.

Mental Trauma

The loss of his parents' weighs heavily on Lysander, giving him a heavy dose of survivor's guilt and a lot of nightmares. He's haunted by the belief that he could have save them, causing him to be obsessed with understanding the forces behind the Eaters attack. He has a constant need to prove himself and pushes himself hard.

Lysander is highly intelligent, with a keen ability to piece together fragments of information about ancient ruins/cultures. His intellect is pratical, focued on problemsolving and survival in extreme conditions. He's also an intuitive strategit, often thinking several steps ahead during expeditions.

Lysander operates with a strong sense of pragmatism. He values survival above everything else, except at the cost of others' lives. His personal philosophy centers around preparation and efficiency. He believes that risks arre necessary but only if they are calculated. He believes that the relics he finds ave to be understood before they can be wielded.
