Personal history
From before birth, Malichor spoke to him, telling him how special he was, and of all the great things that awaited.
As he grew up, he learned from his tutors, listened to what his namesake told him, did what was asked of him. He went to University, as expected, because he was his father's heir.
But he was always waiting for the great things to happen. He wanted to see them, be a part of them, though, he could never figure out how he played into Malichor's plans.
While he was never a loner or social awkard, he was never the life of the party either (so to speak). But he didn't galavant around town like some of his classmates. He dallied with a female here and there, but never got serious about any of them. This was because he never felt quite right in his own skin until Malichor changed him into a her.
Once this changed happened, she was very comfortable with how she felt about herself. She enjoyed the power she held over her father now. While the world views her as powerless, because of gender bias, she is the one who is truly in charge of Calmarnock, Edria now, even though she spends most of her time pregnant and giving birth to the first line of Mongrels.
Gender Identity
Understands gender is either male or female but that sometimes one can be born into the wrong gender. While being a male wasn't that bad, it wasn't the perfect fit it seemed to be for others. As a female, she truly came into focus with her who she was as a person.
Sexuality
Accepted being a male because he felt there was no other choice, but was happy when Malichor changed him into a female. In either gender, sexual orientation is heterosexual. But had a critical eye to see what made each gender more or less appealing to the opposite gender.

Learned how to run a dukedom from his/her father. Spied on his/her mother to learn how to run a household.
