Star Copse is nestled within the expansive grounds of Starwood Ranch, a horse ranch, which is surrounded by gently rolling hills and verdant meadows. It occupies a central position within the ranch, easily accessible yet veiled by the dense foliage of pastel willow trees. At the heart of the copse lies a small, shimmering pool of starlight, its waters reflecting the ethereal glow of a distant galaxy.

Ecosystem

The copse forms a unique micro-ecosystem, sustained by the mystical energies emanating from the starlit pool. The canopy of pastel willow trees creates a cool, shaded environment below, fostering the growth of lush undergrowth and delicate wildflowers. Until about 50 years ago it offered a sanctuary where they could reconnect with nature and marvel at the wonders of the universe.

According to local lore, the copse was once a sacred grove revered by ancient civilizations for its connection to the stars. Over time, it became a place of pilgrimage and contemplation, attracting seekers and wanderers from far and wide. Today, Star Copse continues to inspire awe and wonder, serving as a timeless reminder of the beauty and mystery of the natural world.   Star Copse is no longer acessible for pilgriamges. And after Ezra Hope's mother buried Ezra's twin there, no one is allowed to go into the copse. Until Ezra Hope no one was even allowed to go close to it unless it was to get a wayward animal.

Shadow and Rot! Another beautiful site wasted. And what was wrong with Ezra Hope's mother? What ever the matter was, that was not the way to handle it. It was obviously something that wasn't meant to be revealed, why else stop the pilgrims? It's sites like these that we Humans should stay away from. We do nothing but ruin them... That poor child.
