History
A Kaldera Thalara was the founder of this group because of discontentment with the regime and the lack of needed supplies. She gathered others (didn't matter if they had a magickal background) who were discontent. They started on land, raiding caravans and nobles for anything of value.
When she died 50 years later, her First Mate (another Thalara took command and took the group to sea since he was a water elemental in strength. Once at sea, they attacked the Duchy of Agria ships.
Word of their deeds spread, and the size of crew grew to the point that they needed another ship. Over time they grew to rival any navy of the world. At their height, they were feared by all and were contracted by the Ogres to bring them humans. They even had operatives inside many of the navies they attacked.
Eventually, their numbers dwindled as Humans learned to get along better. But there were always enough people to keep the group alive.
Disbandment
After World War 4 ended that the group fell apart and disbanded. With the borders closed and no one on the seas anymore, they couldn't sustain themselves. Every member snuck into a country in ones and twos and settled down into a new life.
