Dossier

"The old brown cahier map was not prestine after numerous hands have handled the paper. one of the leather straps to seal the map is broken. She looks at the map. Her name is written on the index card, coded with a number that she quickly checks by adding her own number to the digits. The code verifies it is genuine, unopened and addressed to her. She smiles, its a marvel of ingenuity, that mechanism, and for a very brief moment she wonders how it works. She opens the map (and notices the digits on the indeccard have changed). Eager to read she glances through the first page. As always it starts with the standard mumbo jumbo and eyes only. The name catches her eye. 'Jinx', a new name. -Interesting-. She scans the first paper for more details, but no more detail is given.
Turning the page reveals the contents:
header: Germans are sending high officers around the world to find occult artifacts.
9 lines of text and known locations.
2 unknown officers and unknown locations.
She wonders... two unknown... she keeps reading ... the next page has a detailed description of the two unknown officers and the route they followed so far. One is currently in south Africa, moving further south and the other one in South America moving up north."

Dossiers are folders with classified and special information about the agent assignments and contain two or more sections:
a control section with her index card and a code, handler section (who wrote the dossier), a pre-operative part (information and gained knowledge - optional), an operations guide (how to handle and what to expect and prepare for - optional), an eyes only section with specific details (mandatory) and mission targets (mandatory). A blanco agent reports section is added for conveniency.

note: each dossier is written to one specific agent, each dossier is secured by a secet key code, to match and calculate by each agent.

When the assigment is done the agent will brief all known facts, feelings, emotions (if possible) and findings in the report section for further analysis. The agent will be brieved and investigated, the results will be added to the file and then the report will be finalised with a retrospective about the whole operation.

a dossier is a compilation of detailed information about anything that needs to be investigated.

Purpose

Dossiers are written to prepare an agent, fill in the details of a mission. The agent can assess a situation before, during and after the mission. When a mission is concluded the mission orders and the report are delivered to the science department for further analysis. the agent will be tested and brieved, the results are added to the dossier and then the dossier becomes a report and as such is input for new assignments / assessments.   (todo: add images of a dossier)
