Wolves of War
War Wolves... soldiers, fighters and warriors.
The elite, the finest and the best soldiers of B.A.R.K.. Probably the best soldiers humanity has to offer.
When field agents follow the intended training there are many not suited to become one. By no means this is a bad thing. It just means that they have other qualities and are best suited for all non field agent related activities. Their operational tasks are varying from guard duty to highly special operations to retrieve or extract objects or persons. Where a field agent gets more specialised training (like martial arts to become more secretive and operational capable of running solo or a small team, master the arts in disguise, the soldier are more effective if working in teams and using less stealthy weaponry. Again, do not get fooled by that notion. They are very capable of secret and stealth operations, like navy seals or SAS special forces. Its just that they also have tasks like transporting, securing, defending etc. not like a field agent who has to deal with the unknown threats. Field Agents depend on the capabilities of the War Wolves. The War Wolves are also depending on the knowledge and decisions that a Field Agent gives. When a field agent is around he has automatically the highest rank, and a Field Agent might assume command. But the number of occasions that this has happened is less then 0.12 percent of all operations.

Composition
Manpower
The elite force is based on a 1 up to 50 people sized group depending on the kind of operation. Larger operations are more miltiary operations and have different rules. Around these men and woman are dozens of peope to supprt the operations.
The team exisits always of a commanding officer. The commanding officer doesn't have to be an officer, but is in the case he is appointed to command the group.
Equipment
War Wolves use highly advanced technological gear, surveillance and communication gear are made by Tesla, Marconi and Edison. Medical gear is still somewhat lacking, but the division is working on that.
Weaponry
The weapons are also made by several highly specialized companies. Well known are the Winchester and Colt company.
Vehicles
There are a bunch of vehicles but none of them are really military grade yet. Duesenberg, a small company has produced a prototype with an newly designed engine. They are now working with Verne's Société du Vision Réalité" (secret company of deceased french Jules Verne)
Structure
Team Leader is the Commanding Officer - who works in direct conjunction with the operations liason officer.
Team Lead is commanding 1 to 5 wolfpacks in teams of 10 war wolves.
A wolfpack can be a specialised team (like assault, defense, breach, support, tactical advancement, transport, engineering, medical)
Each wolf pack is made up as follows:
0) wolfpack teamlead
1) analist
2) communcations
3) spotter / guard
4) assault / heavy gunnery
5) assault / guard / recon
6) assault / recon
7) demolition, sniper, mine
8) demolition, sniper, mine
9) demolition, sniper, mine
Tactics
The normal tactics are to follow protocol. the protocol should be followed until its clear that it isn't going to work or leads to certain death. there are excepotions to all rules. and they train to be prepared to any and all danger. (or at least train to be adaptive, improvise, learn and think ahead)
The planners have informed every member of the expected tasks and possible side tasks. However situation might change in a second.
Training
The War Wolves are selected from the ranks of other organisations and are already the best in their class. they enter the program to become a field agent, but if they do not qualify they get the opportunity to become an soldier. Thats the first notion they get that they have been selected to become a War Wolf. From that moment on they are part of a elite force.
After the initial rank of private (aka dog) they will depart from the field agent training to become War Wolves. The rest of the training is never ending. It's ofcourse impossible to prepare the War Wolves for every imaginable setup they can think of, but they can be trained. The training is the best there is. Every training that might be of value is used. They are trained by the best pilots, navy seals and are extensivly trained during military operations. Since the pockets of the organisation seem to be deep there is enough support and materiasl to make it through the worst cases. This is enough other military commanders who envy the War Wolves. Other military units consider the War Wolves as a welcome sight in any operation as they have a record of getting the job done and take theri jobs very seriously.
