Fontelle Graz rose up through the ranks of the Elk Riders faster than most throughout their varied history, but all of her achievements were based upon her merit as a devout member of the order rather that due to any apparent ambition or drive for personal gain. She was a model member of the Order, upholding the tenets of their faith and purpose without question, and administering to the needs of any she crossed no matter the amount of difficulty or personal danger the situation might pose. As with so many dedicated aspirants of things larger than themselves, the further she delved into the mysteries of her Order and the secrets of life and balance itself, the more she became enamoured with her own ideals of what they meant, eventually coming to see herself as not just an advocate of the world's need for balance, but as an interpreter of what those needs were. These misappropriations of purpose and self importance were only made worse as her tremendous charisma and appeal found root among the other members of the Elk Riders. Before long she found herself elevated into the upper echelon of the the inner circle and from there, finally assumed the role of Arch Druid, gaining full control to assert her warped views upon the rest of the Order.

As a representative and self proclaimed voice of the planet, Fontelle moved to endear herself to Sovereign Daimus III , seeking to curb the abundant waste and excess resources his now massive Empire controlled. The Sovereign, captivated by her presence and realizing that with the Elk Riders on his side his efforts to subjugate the remaining unconquered portions of the world would not only be justified by his position as Sovereign, but with the blessing of the world itself as granted by the Arch-Druid herself. Seeing the opportunity, Xendal Vedakrhi and Sasha Vrend brought her into their own dark designs, painting the Seanachaisian as twisted and manipulative usurpers of the natural order of their world for having fallen in league with the fey, and further convincing her that they Fey were using them for an agenda intent upon robbing their home of its precious resources and leaving nothing but a wasted and barren husk of what once was.
Against her better judgement and the advisement of the inner circle of the Elk Riders, Fontelle moved to join the conspirators anyway, decising that since the human race was chosen by the planet as its guardians and representatives, that the Seanachaisians, foul and tainted things as described to her by Sasha Vrend , had knowingly given up the purity of their humanity, and therefore should be cleansed. While she had no idea the level of devastation to come, she knowingly added the power of the grove to the summoning of the Void.
