The Oubliette
Directly beneath the Boiler, is the Oubliette, a small hatch that leads about 50' straight down into a void infected chamber below everything. This is where the League disposes of unwanted problems and loose ends. Inside the chamber is no natural light at all, but tunnels filled with void energy exit from it in every direction. This was once a minor territory within Underhome, a grand gnomish hall where there once were great feasts and gatherings of gnome and dwarf alike. It is only through Victor's knowledge of history that he was able to find this location, right beneath the noses of the Culvarkt Dwarves. The bottom is strewn with the bones of the gnomish people that once lived here, now infused and tainted by the void. upon being disturbed, hundreds of these skeletal remains with rise up again and seek out the warmth of the living , either forcing them into the tunnels to die in the void, or be drained of their life energy and left to join them the next time another poor soul is dropped to their doom in the Oubliette.
