Voltaire Devours the Remains of Volri, Becoming Synchordia Demonda

In desperation, mortally wounded and lost within the darkness of the Blight that was quickly expanding along the inner coast lines of Cairne, the fallen shadow dragon, Voltaire, blindly stumbles across the remains of the goddess, Volri in the Void. Blinded by rage and pain as his body was being slowly ripped apart by the negative energies there, he lashed out and devoured the remains. The imbued flesh of the goddess, melded with his own and he was changed. The divine essence intertwined with the spiritual essence of the shadow dragon and the divine remnants of power left in the goddesses body, twisting the creature into a vastly powerful entity, no longer any one of the things that made it, but now inexorably tied to the Void itself, able to move through it and control the things that spawned there with ease and terrible efficency. The creature known as, Synchordia Demonda was born from that unholy joining, and the Blighted regions of the world gained a new and malevolent master.

In the dire depths of the Blight, where the air hung heavy with the stench of decay and despair, an unholy fusion unfolded, weaving together the remnants of life and death, shadow and divine. Voltaire, the once proud shadow dragon, now writhed in agony, his form ravaged by the relentless assault of the Blight's malevolent energies, yet, fate had a twisted path in store for him.   As he stumbled through the oppressive darkness, his senses dulled by pain and desperation, Voltaire's path crossed with the shattered remains of the goddess, Volri, lost in the unfathomable depths of the Void. In a haze of fury and anguish, he seized upon the remnants of this fallen goddess, driven by a primal instinct to survive at any cost. With a savage hunger, he devoured the divine flesh, the essence of Volri merging with his own corrupted being. In that unholy communion, the boundaries between mortal and divine blurred, and Voltaire was reborn as something altogether new and terrifying.   Synchordia Demonda emerged from the crucible of darkness and divine remnants, a being of twisted power and malevolence. No longer bound by the limitations of his former existence, he became an avatar of the Void itself, wielding its chaotic energies with dreadful proficiency.   In the wake of this monstrous transformation, the Blighted regions of Cairne found a new master, one whose very presence heralded doom and despair. Synchordia Demonda, the accursed fusion of shadow and divine, now ruled over these tainted lands with an iron grip, his gaze piercing through the veil of reality, commanding the horrors that lurked within the Void's embrace.
