In a shocking landslide vote, Margaret Effron is voted to become the new Sovereign ruler of the Bechtlarite Empire.

Margaret Effron, while a long time politician and fervent supporter of the continuation of the role of Sovereign, had never intended or expected to be elected to fill the position. She was one of the most vocal campaigners for the continuation of the title, and had fought hard to make sure her constituents were well represented her entire career, and due to her very positive public image from the many years she served in this manner, she was not only elevated to the position, but by an overwhelming landslide victory in a popular vote by the people. She accepted the win with dignity and grace, and a humble demeanor that only served to cement her further in the hearts of the people.
