In the later years, his visage would become haunting, marred by the curse that tormented him.

Personality

In the early days of his reign Trumac III was known for his need to uphold the duty left to him by his predecessor to defend the land against the ensuing war that crept through the land. Although beneath the weight of the crown lay a vulnerability that would prove to be his undoing, When his rants of otherworldly presences and whispers of madness began to circulate within the court.

Ascension

Born into the royal lineage as the son of Trumac II, Trumac III ascended to the throne with high hopes resting on his shoulders. Early in his reign, he was already a just leader with his judicious decisions earning him respect among his subjects; Knowing full well that the war would test every moral obligations he held dear.

As shadows crept over the kingdom, an unknown force known as the Hollowed began to manifest within the realms of Triptych after celestial object crash landed in the lands of Kingsbury, In an event that became to be known as The Hollowing. This malevolent force sought to consume the minds of those it touched, Driving people insane by the mere sight of it and causing them to tear out there own eyes in what people still argue may be fear of the unknown. Inexorably, Trumac III fell prey to its insidious influence sanity slipped away and replaced by an all-encompassing darkness.

Descent into Madness

The court watched in horror as Trumac III succumbed to the curse. Whispers of his nightly wanderings through the palace corridors and tortured screams echoed through the castle walls. In a fit of madness, he gouged out his own eyes, believing it would free him from the unseen tormentors that plagued his every waking moment.
