The Scamp

The eldest daughter of Jonas and Jilas is the Scamp. She is often depicted as a female child between ages 5-10, and for her appearance that is about the only consistent attribute. Her pension for chaos, trickery, and humor means she has a place in any society. This has lead to numerous depictions of her in every social or economical class, race, and era. The smaller of the two moons of Caleus is also named for this deity.

The Scamp is always looking for the next thrill or laugh. She seeks to uproot those that take themselves too seriously and to disrupt the status quo. She doesn't find joy in pain or suffering nor outright altruism. Many followers of the Scamp are pranksters, scammers, or Robin Hood types.
To better understand her motives it helps to look at her behavior prior to the Divine Separation. When she would walk among the mortals of Caleus she would often take the guise of an orphan or impoverished child. As such she would see how mortals would treat her and she would mark them accordingly. More often than not it turned out that those with the least to give were kind to her while those who had the most were less so. Those who treated her poorly often found their power, wealth, or respect redistributed to those who were nice to her. This redistribution would be achieved through scams, poor business decisions, charlatans, thievery, or just magic. Her targets weren't just individuals either. Entire countries could draw the ire of the Scamp. Rumor says that the tribes of Torrenda were once a unified and powerful nation prior to some event that occurred during the time of the gods. Many who believe such a rumor also believe that such a powerful nation would no doubt be a tempting target for the Scamp. If such a nation existed then it is likely she would see it as a prime place for trickery to humble the mighty.
