Session 5: Hi! My name is Brourhoki and I like to Party Report

General Summary

With the Party coming to a close, and Sigurd and Ceru unwilling to leave the Witch Hunter's behind for fear of his wrath, the waited until the morning and reentered the desert temple. After collecting the rest of the group they headed back to Dace with the young girl Hameeda in tow. Upon arrival Firehand gave Sigurd and Ceru the afternoon off and told them to report to Soterius in the morning. Meanwhile Firehand and Llethwyn walked Hameeda home. The following day Ceru arrived early for his meeting with Ban and was arrested for possession of a weapon and breach of conditions which landed him the morning in jail and an extra week of community service which he gladly accepted Militia duty for the remaining 3 weeks of his order. Sigurd was given 2 more days to provide information on the Cloaked man, while Firehand eagerly awaited word of his inquiries. Llethwyn continued to provide support to the local farmers, and lower class citizens and was visited by members of a Circle of Druids from the Vellen Region named The Rising Earth. He was invited to learn of their culture and ways as they saw him as one with the land. They mentioned to him that they were currently trying to regrow and nourish the area around Orgroth's Tower in the Ormlarandin mountains. They offered to him a staff with the power to nourish the earth.   Sigurd received word from Astrid that the Cloaked man was looking for him and was growing impatient with him. He mentioned in the meeting at the Rotting Stump that there was an Organization called the Depthless Jesters that would serve as the perfect target for The General. Sigurd will need to collect information and evidence to implicate the group and frame their leader Villas Showground as the Cloaked man and the one running the Black Market in Dace. Sigurd wasting no time left down river in his fishing boat and came across some individuals wearing red bandanas attempting to subdue some travelers on the road. This type of activity was exactly what Sigurd had been told the Depthless Jesters had been doing. Capturing merchants and bringing them somewhere. Being the Charismatic do-gooder that he was he lept into action to save the poor traverlers, only to be subdued himself and the insuing conflict cost Sigurd his right eye. While in captivity Sigurd attempted to overpower his captors even while restrained and tripped which caused his ankle to break in a pot hole he didn't not anticipate, and his head to hit the desk knocking him unconscious yet again.   Back in Dace, the Church of Sigmar arrived and Firehand was promoted to Witch Hunter Captain to oversee the daily running of the Dace chapter. He spent no time at all putting his new workers to task. Embra Silvertree a Bright Wizard sent to help began decoding the book found in the desert temple the Horror's of Castle Xyr, in the hopes of discovering any information about it. Hawkrill Dawnbringing the Warrior priest of Sigmar was sent to secure the temple and insure the afety of the Warpstone. While Craer Blackfinger was dispatched to find the whereabouts of Sigurd Von Shallow.   Will Sigurd escape the clutches of his Captors? Will Ceru figure out the secrets of being a noble?
