Session 7: Why did you rescue me? I had them i tell you!! Report

General Summary

As the party retuned to Dace; Sigurd, Ceru, and Firehand made straight for General Soterius' office to give their report, while Llethwyn decided to stay on the outskirts of town to discover his next move. After giving their reports General Ban dismissed the three to begin his own investigations. Meanwhile Ceru continued his hunt for the men who set him up while Sigurd retuned to an empty house that had been tossed. Why Ceru felt the need to make his investigation look like a burglary only he knows but Sigurd spent the night cleaning up. A few days later Astrid returned home after being out searching for Sigurd.  Sigurd decided to invite Firehand out for a dinner and a drink to thank him for saving him. with Ceru at the Rotting Stump looking for Clues the 3 were alerted to a comotion a few blocks down in the direction of the Sigmar Chapter house. Once on the scene it was discovered there was a break in and all the clergy were murdered and turned into zombies. One brave Guard named Harald Gebhardt aided the three and fought off the Zombies including a hulking ogre zombie.  Throughout the battle Llethwyn continued to avoid the farmers, and spent the time in the wilderness soul searching, while the farms died , and Sarabel and Kokou Danso said their goodbyes as Sarabel's sickness took a turn for the worse. 
With the Zombies defeated Firehand spent no time investigating the incident at the chapter house to discover one of his loyal servants murdered at what appears to be the hands of Sigurd. Firehand had him arrested, and was ready to burn him for herasy before he was convinced by Llethwyn, Ceru and General Soterius that he was set up by Vanessa Vancleef under the guise of Astrid who has been playing the entire town for a fool while she advances the Defias Brotherhoods plans. 
The party was then tasked with tracking down Astrid and stoping the Defias Brotherhood....
