Other ancestries are present but in far smaller numbers.

History
Fyrne was a capital of one of the clans of Calen when the country was still partially nomadic.
When the Empire conquered Calenard they joined their 5 territories into one and placed a king at its head. Fyrne was the most obvious place to establish the capital, with it being directly between the regions of Vanheim to the north and Aestara to the west, but it lacked the infrastructure of the city to the east, Ostacre. Now it sits as a popular trading city along the Imperial Tradeway and goods are shipped along the river and the Tradeway to and from it.
Architecture
Fyrne sits upon a large rocky outcropping and is made up of wood and thatch houses that make up the majority of Calen settlements. Some stone houses are set apart from the rest but they are generally built by the wealthy as the stone would have to be shipped from the northern quarries. Many of the houses and other structures are decorated in carvings of horses or groups of hunting hounds in the traditional Calen style.
Geography
The lands surrounding Fyrne are like most of Calenard, long stretches of plains with the occasional wood or rough, rocky outcropping, though not nearly as rough as Vanheim to the north. The River Briganti runs along the northern edge of the city from the north and continues to the south in the direction of the capital.

Grain and sheep are the most populous resources throughout the region.
