Ishum

Shah Ishum (a.k.a. Lord of Fire)

Ishum is the embodiment of fire within the pantheon of primal gods that rule Axiom. They are not easily described as they are not simply a creature of personality and desire, but a force of nature in all its forms and actions. The Lord of Flame rules the lands of Aag, the domain of fire, within Axiom with a flaming iron fist and that strength  and relentlessness encourages the denizens that reside there to embody the same strength and ruthlessness of their master. The primordial gods of fire are Ishum's children, but they are also pieces of their whole given sentience, aspects of their being, but beholden to them.

There are few who worship Ishum directly. In part due to their various nature and lack of attention to mortal lives, but also because contact with Ishum is too overwhelming for a mortal mind to comprehend, often leaving them a burnt husk if communion is attempted. Instead, mortals focus on one of their aspects, their children.

Social

Family Ties

All of Ishum's children, or "sparks", are pieces of his own being. They have thought and agency of their own, but are ultimately beholden to his will. Any who worship his children, are in turn beholden to Ishum by connection.

Agni

Agni is the embodiment of flames of the forge and the passion to create and mold things into new forms through heat and flame. They are one of the very few children of Ishum whose domain revolves around creation rather than destruction. Through them, Ishum creates weapons and armor for their armies. Agni has been used as part of deals made with powerful entities to create for them works of engineering, beauty, and war.

Novum

Novum is the most destructive of the Ishum's children, and the most rebellious. They are the embodiment of fire's pure destructive capacity and their form is one of swirling ash and cindered stone. Novum has been known to rebel against their father's wishes and succeed in part in pulling from Ishum's influence if only for a moment. Little else is known about Novum, but that they are one of the most powerful of Ishum's sparks.
