The first major conflict in the Ulfur-Bjorn War, beginning to be known by some as the War of the Wolf's Reprisal, since the Ulfur King's son was killed on Sarendril. An Ulfur army assaulted the fortress city of Lansvokt. With the backing of the Black Throne and the support of their strong walls, the Bjorn stood long against the Ulfur onslaught, the Ironsides of Clan Bjorn could only hold out so long against the Ulfur Hexenwolves. Once the walls were compromised, though the Ulfur failed to break them in the conflict, the battle fell apart for the Bjorn. The Ulfur's Hexenwolves proved to be their clan's means of victory, but by the end of the battle many lay injured or dead. Despite their losses, the next morning Ulfur banners hung from the walls of Lansvokt.
