Setting Sail

The next morning the group wakes up in their respective rooms with varying levels of hungover from the wine geyser and subsequent drinking. Myra pushed into the boys room with newly invented coffee as Adama explains to Tintreach that revenge is the best motive. Myra asks Adama what he's taking revenge on and why he's disguising himself constantly.

Adama's Story

• "I'm disguising myself cause I'm a 'known person'"
• "I was a commander of an army, of the Manten’Liche Army"
• "He ended my first life, my first wife"
• Between the ages of 12 - 25 I grew up in Skull Hill Keep. It started when I was a soldier, my unit was attacked a sleep spell cast upon us and I was the only one unaffected. I swung at the kid who caused it, the crown prince. He liked that I didn't let him go just cause he was prince so it started a friendship between us.
• As I got older I was given command of a group of men. He asked me to send him ten of my men for a mission. They never came back. He asked for another ten of my men, they never came back either. On the third time he asked I went with the men. We were deployed to a forest maybe a mile outside of the city. As we were walking all of us fell asleep.
• When I woke up the king was standing over me with a knife, cackling. He said I shouldn't have come it wasn't meant to be me. Then he slit me from ear to ear.
• I nearly bled out. I swear I died. When I awoke the second time there was a woman above me. The elf looking into his eyes became his second wife.
• I spent almost a decade with her but I left because of the pain it caused me.
• "Some anger is not meant to be left alone."

• Gwen goes after him thanks him for explaining his story. Adama says that it was hard and mentions a different story from his childhood about chasing owlbears with his dad.
• Adama asks Gwen about her left and Gwen mentions she's from just outside of Greenport
• As Adama asks Gwen what she thinks about the world Wilth mentions there are pancakes for those who want them.

Banking

Raijun and Hagren make a quick detour to the nearby branch of Meridian Bank. Hagren to make a deposit and Raijun to make a wire transfer. Raijun contacts Illipo Moonscabbard explaining that he wants to wire her some money (5,000 gp) for the temple. Illipo responded, " Sir Raijun, most thoughtful, the children and those who escape former bonds thank you. We will keep you in our prayers."

Pancakes and Poltergeists

As everyone settles in at Wilth's invitation of pancakes and Myra's coffee the beads to Rolwisi's Lamp erupt as a feathered figure stands heroically in the doorway, "Welcome back to my presence" greets Onsprey. He enters and sheepishly asks if there are more pancakes and is welcomed along with first mate Kay into the lamp. As we eat Onsprey asks where out target destination is, we explain the general vicinity and tell him that we are hunting stories but we have a good idea of the general location and some tools that should be able to help track the goods we seek.
As we are talking Myra remembers that Hagren has a compass that points towards what he most desires and says that they would be pretty useful around now. Onsprey jokes that he hopes Hagren isn't in love with someone as the compass could then lead us around in circles. Hagren, pulling out the compass thinks to give it to Myra to help navigate but as he goes to hand it over he finds that he is unable to part with it as the world slows to a stop.
As the Scene pauses with everyone else in the Lamp coming to a stop Hagren notices the older man that he has seen on several occasions. As the man sees Hagren he begins speaking, "We're so close to the goal. To home. Return me to my king and you shall be rewarded."
