After the death of Chief Bhaltair, his son Faolán succeeded him as leader of the Isendreen tribe and the old alliance. He was crowned king by the old chiefs of the Samara River Tribes, in accordance with his father's wishes.

This newly formed nation was called Isendree after the tribe of the same name. The chief's main goal in doing this was to solidify their hold over the territory of the Quioté tribes, but, although Faolán was young he was not ignorant, and used his new power and upcoming marriage to the daughter of the chief of the Diarad tribe, the largest of the Quioté tribes.
