Amalgam Comics & Coffeehouse

Amalgam Comics & Coffeehouse is the first comic shop on the east coast owned by an African American. Arielle Johnson opened the shop in 2015.
In Carma City, Amalgam is a hangout for the locals of Kensington and surrounding neighborhoods. They serve great drinks for geeks in an inclusive and friendly environment. You can find people picking up their weekly comic hauls, grabbing drinks, and hanging around at the tables or couches reading or chatting.
IRL: Amalgam has sinced closed in October of 2022, but will forever be alive in our hearts and in Carma City.
