Brown Stag Kin
The Brown Stag Kin are the easternmost tribe. They live close by the ocean in the rolling hills, digging horizontal tunnels into the large mounds. The tribe occupies a cluster of hills, with the largest structures right under the arch of the hills themselves, where the sun heats up the soil and warms their communal chambers. Each hill is connected via a series of intricate tunnels.
Biology
The brass kobolds of the Brown Stag Kin, like many other kobolds, have little in common with their dragon counterparts. They are, however, still amongst the friendliest of the kobolds out there. They are social and welcoming, but rather unintelligent and naive, making them easy to exploit. While these kobolds despise the brightness of the sun, a Brown Stag Kin’s favourite pastime is lazing on the beach in the evenings, enjoying the warm sand against their scales. Unlike most other kobolds, they enjoy their food to be cooked and seasoned, throwing large feasts where they sit and dance around fires by the shore.Naming Traditions

Culture
Shared customary codes and values
Brown Stag kin are not violent and aggressive, but simple. They have a hard time understanding social norms and as such will befriend anyone willing to give them a chance. They can imitate social norms to a degree but will never understand them fully, often leading to unintentional insults. Despite the fact that they are weak, they are still nimble and agile and fiercely protective of their own.
Mentality and Behaviour
Brown Stag Kin are surprisingly happy with their situation. They recognise their own inferiority and grovel to other kin and creatures without question. This attitude is often bordering on self-loathing, it's very rare for them to have a high reputation of themselves. Luckily for these kobolds, they really are kind of stupid, so these thought rarely go too far, and tend to stay relegated in a corner of their mind.Adventurers
The Brown Stag Kin are highly curious of intelligent creatures and love to spend time in their presence, learning more about them. They love to hear the tales of these creatures and will strive to obtain them all. A kobold that gets to join an adventuring party is revered as legendary by the Brown Stag Kin. They have a healthy dose of fear for those who are strong or have magical powers but would rather cower and beg than fight back. Few Brown Stag are born with innate magical powers themselves. These kobolds are often draconic sorcerers.Known tribe members
Tribe LeaderIkhrus Paletongue - A wyrm priest (draconic sorcerer) stands at the head of this tribe. His brown scales are larger than those of the others and they possess a brass sheen in the light. He wears an orange loincloth, like all others, and an orange and yellow trimmed stole. A leather cord with a large (for him) cloudy crystal sits around his neck and his nose has been pierced with a metal ring. He is particularly skilled at stealth and quite smart for his kind. Other individuals
Scaang Crowchin - A lanky kobold with dull light brown scales, speckled with dark brown splotches. He wears a crude leather helmet that resembles a blue dragon’s head with a white crystal for the horn. He always carries an obsidian tipped spear by his side. Scaang is a scout for the tribe and is always looking for new food or treasure to report back to Ikhrus. He has a tendency to snicker at everything Ikhrus says. Vem Grasschew - A frail little sorcerer with bright, brass and gold-spotted scales. Due to his small stature, he easily hides in small places. He too wears a cloudy crystal around his neck, smaller than Ikhrus’s, though his actual focus is a small pouch containing several brightly coloured gems which he is often seen playing with to keep calm. He will spend most of his time trying to avoid being seen by others and has a nervous habit of tapping his left foot on the ground. Ikne Plateback - Ikne is a pale brown female with thin brass stripes and a gentle demeanor. She wears piecemeal chain armor and has a small, mended sword at her side. Her speciality is gem cutting and she excels at pilfering them away from others. Crarc Windjaw - A large kobold trap maker with a dull brown appearance. The tip of each scale has a small white spot. He usually carries around a diamond shaped shield with scorch marks. When he is not maintaining traps, he spends his time playing pranks on the others. Sley Starsplinter
