Faye Key
Created by Mryddin, it is one of three artifacts found at the ███████ █████. This mechanical object is not magical in nature but merely focuses the magic of the user or magic in the area to open a gateway. This gateway by default will open into the Labyrinth at the last layer visited unless the user chooses a different location. Through experimentation we have not been able to find any limitations with the Key itself, all limitations and faults derive from the user. The greater a distance traveled the greater the cost to the user—along with frequent usage can lead to undesirable results.
Further attempts to investigate how the Key was made have been banned. Previous attempts have resulted in nothing less than death or spontaneous combustion. While the Key is unique, in the fact it was man made, it is not the only veil item on record. Knowledge of and the whereabouts of veil items in strictly monitored.
