Mibtibù (/mɪbˈtɪbʊ/)
Garimupu (/ˈgariˈmupu/), Ta Mbogno (/ta ˈmbogno/) (a.k.a. Liar, Dark Dream, Bug Mother)
As long as humans have existed, there have been dreams. As long as there has been dreams Mibtibù has been there. All throughout human history and myth, Mibtibù has made her appearance. Temptress, witch, demon, and blasphemous mother – Mibtibù has walked along side humanity and it progression. There is feverous debate as to this entity’s origins. As we are not sure it is best to classify it as a traveler; through it does have the power and strength of one within the great cosmic court.
While there are many records of Mibtibù, no one from the Society has been able to contact her in person. This does suggest an active awareness of our Society by her, or that she has agents that are watching us and our movements. We have yet to find an informant.
Those that have been in contact with Mibtibù very rarely live for much longer. On a rare occasion she will have a “chosen messenger” that she will send out into the world to complete tasks on her behalf. Due to this we believe she is truly trapped within the Dreamlands and all encounters with her in the waking world is nothing more than a mask. When this was first suggested, it refired the debate about Mibtibù’s classification.
