Humans were created for the soul purpose of being an expansive and adaptable people. However, even the deities couldn't expect what happened. The human species spread out so far and wide that they dominated the globe almost instantly. Humans also quickly took to anything they learned, being versatile enough to learn anything, but never being the greatest at anything. Humans became the Deities favorites during the War of the Gods, were they became a key piece to winning the war. Humans, unlike the other species, don't instinctual feel any specific tie to one deity. As such, they were able to choose their side, and chosen loyalty will always been stronger than ancestral.
