Shemia, the Gatekeeper
She is the goddess of death, the dead, and the passing of life. She is the patron of undertakers, and gravekeepers.
Shemia’s Head Church is within Vadra, in Xenna, on Candela. This church is called the Grave of the Dead. Their leader is named the Watcher of the Dead, and the current leader is Dabria Fellan, a Half-Orc woman with light purple hair. She is 42 years old.
Shemia is a human woman, who looks to be in her mid 20s. She has very pale skin, with long black hair. She wears a long mask from her nose to half a foot above her head. She wears a black dress, with metal armor on her chest and forearms. She seems very cold, and matter of fact. She has an air of importance around her, and has a regal stance. She is not a part of Yullke’s Mortal Restriction, but never gets involved.

Her colors are dark purple, and black, and her symbol is a gate slightly open.
Tenets of Faith
- Death is not the end. Life continues after death, and if you do right in life, you will continue to a good afterlife.
- Death isn’t unfair. Death treats all the same. Death doesn’t differentiate, but we judge those who deserve it.
- Holding on to Undead. Avoiding death is a cardinal sin, and should be treated with the harshest force.
Holidays
Shemia’s holy day is the 23rd of the Moon of Yellow. This marks the day that Shemia rose to her position as the Gatekeeper. It is called Shemia’s Rise.
