Smaller freshwater fish living in the bodies of water inside the lands very common food. Often preserved in salt, very bony. Ground into paste to spread onto bread etc.
Heavy reliance on imports. Primary grain is rice, seeing as the Spirit Wilds are the closest major civilization. Hauntfall is too far from the rest of its country (and too far north to have many nearby farms) to bring in much wheat, so not much of that comes through The Stormgate.
Tonguesbane drinks common- most of the stuff is actually produced here from Hauntfall imports.
Lots of access to salt due to being surrounded by saltwater. Some areas are dedicated to evaporation of saltwater to collect this. Not much of an export industry, as Eidel could produce higher quality salt in far greater quantities.
