Anima

Anima is understood to be the remnant divine energy left over from creation. This energy exists in multiple forms and can be used to empower and enhance the effects of magic. All living creatures have small levels of anima within them, however this tends to be insufficient for most spells and can potentially do harm to the living being. Liquid Anima, can be refined from various plants and rocks through alchemical processes, while the rarest form, Crystal Anima can be found deep within the ground.
