Harold Brenton takes his role of guarding the Dragon Reach pass seriously, keeping his men well drilled and constantly vigilant. He ensures his soldiers are trained in winter survival techniques, so that if the need arises to chase fugitives or monsters into the mountains, they can do so with greater safety and confidence. Another of his important roles is to keep an eye on the Orc settlements along the mountains, while most are relatively solitary and keep to themselves, occasionally a more aggressive faction will try to slip into the Weald to cause havoc.
