Port Mellou

Being the only Port-City in Fremilan and straddled over the central river, has made Port Mellou a major trade hub and the economic heart of the Duchy. Ships are always in and out of port, with barges sailing up and down the river carting goods and supplies. Many traders also travel the roads bringing their wares off the docks and into the rest of the country. Unfortunately with the increase of wealth and trade, comes the undesirable problems of pickpockets, thugs and organised crime.
The local Lord has done much to curb the increase in crime but only barely manages to keep things in check for now.
