Sandstone Fort

This ancient fortress was carved into the side of a large rock formation thousands of years ago. It is commonly believed that ancient Nomads once used the site as a stronghold. The Fremen have refurbished the fort and it now watches over Merchant's Rest

and keeps watch for renegade Nomad raiders.
