Shamdul
Magus
Shamdul, one of the 12 Magi and representative of the Orcandish, specialised in empowerment and fortification magic. He wrought magic that could increase strength, speed and endurance, making him not only a powerful mage, but also an exceptional warrior.
During the Dark Years, when Dumas betrayed the Order of the Magi, he formed a strike force of his people, the Orcandish and lead them on precision strikes against Dumas and his armies. Shamdul tried to face Dumas alone, despite his colleagues insistence they face him together. He found despite his immense strength and power, that he was not able to overcome Dumas and the fallen Magi spun a curse that inflicted Shamdul and his entire people, disfiguring the Orcandish into the people now known as Orcs.
After Dumas was eventually defeated, Shamdul recovered from his wounds, then retreated into the wilderness with his tribe, the Grey Bones.
