The Frostfire Expanse

The Frostfire Expanse is a cold and unforgiving region located at the south pole of the world. It is a vast, frozen wasteland, where the winds howl and the temperatures drop to lethal levels. Despite the harsh conditions, the Frostfire Expanse is home to a number of infernal fortresses, which are strongholds of the infernals, powerful and malevolent beings from the underworld. These fortresses are built of black stone and are surrounded by walls of ice, and they are said to be home to all manner of twisted and cruel creatures.

At the heart of the Frostfire Expanse is the infernal portal, a gate that leads to the Crimson Fields. The portal is said to be guarded by the most powerful and fearsome of the infernals, and it is rumored that those who attempt to enter the portal are doomed to suffer an eternity of torment and agony.

Despite the dangers of the Frostfire Expanse, some brave (or foolish) adventurers and seekers of forbidden knowledge still venture into this icy wasteland, hoping to uncover the secrets that lie within the infernal fortresses and the portal. However, few who venture into the Frostfire Expanse are ever seen again, and it is said that the ghosts of those who have failed to return haunt the icy winds of the expanse.
