This gem works the similar to Comprehend Languages with a few differences.
When looking through the eye you understand the literal meaning of any written language that you see. It takes about 1 minute to read one page of text. It will allow the user to also see any writing which has been magically hidden or changed (seeing what the change is and what the original is).
This spell doesn’t decode Secret messages in a text or a glyph, such as an arcane sigil, that isn’t part of a written language.

Significance

An item of importance once gifted by Anubis to the Elven people but has swapped hands many times. Needed to find Sunnis' children.
