Mindscape Fracture
6th-level enchantment, psionic, hexCasting Time: 1 action
Range: 60 feet
Components: V, S, M (drop of blood from a murder victim and a strand of hair from a telepath, both are consumed with casting), F (a crystal prism)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute
This spell fractures the mindscape of creatures within your vicinity, creating disorienting and surreal mental landscapes. Choose up to three creatures you can see within range. Each target must make an Intelligence saving throw.
On a failed save: The creature's mind is thrown into chaos. It becomes Dazed and Confused and also must make a Wisdom saving throw after this spell ends that if they fail causes them to take a level of Exhaustion and gain disadvantage on all ability checks and attack rolls due to the mental turmoil they suffered that cannot be relieved until they complete a long rest.
On a successful save: The creature resists the fracture but experiences a fleeting moment of disorientation, granting you advantage on your next attack or spell against it before the end of your next turn.
While maintaining concentration, you can use your action to attempt to deepen the mental fracture in one affected creature per turn. The creature must make another Intelligence saving throw, and on a failed save, it is stunned until the end of its next turn or may take a minor madness to prevent taking the stunned condition.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, you can target two additional creatures for each slot level above 6th.
