Boddharra, or “Enlightened Mind” in the ancient Salinath language (see Languages of the Channel Cities & World of Ærnth) of the Balntogh Jungles. The central tenants is the development of enlightenment by its followers, also known as Buddahood, first reached by Moksharan, reportedly on the 15th day of the second month of the year of Budha, also known as Keph-Thal; in which the Boddharra belief system came into being (was founded by ). Although it is not clear as to the exact year that this took place under the widely used Isle of Stars Calendar and Reconning, although it is believed to have been early in the First Age).
The central belief of this religion is that everyone’s spirit is reincarnated a short time after death of their previous body occurs and that the these lives give the spirit a chance to learn to set aside grief, pain and suffering. To become enlightened to the point of joy and happiness by living in the now and experiencing life as a joyful learning experience, eventually leading to a state of nirvana.
