Surma Toħvec is a stout woman of late-middle age, whose husband Mafer Toħvec is a fisherman. She bakes small meat pies that are easy to carry and thus does a modest business selling them to dock workers and other people who are looking for a quick meal while on the go. They have five teenage to young adult children, all of whom also sell the meat pies out of small carts that they push around the streets of the J3 Black Swan District of Martelain.
