The astounding waste of money on a worm with little rite to his own name angered the Old Elf, and so he thought, "why not assign a little of those spare funds to myself?" when his embezzlement was found out, he had swindled over 12,000 gp into his pocket, and was sentenced to pay every copper of it back by laboring in the New World.
