Shogunate

The Shogunate of Rokurou is organized and structured under a strict caste system. At the top of this hierarchy is the Shogun - the absolute ruler who wields great power over the region. The Shogun is supported by his noble class, comprised mainly of Imperial Elves and Samurai warriors who uphold the Shogun's laws and regulations.   Below these two classes are the commoners, made up of small farmers, craftsmen, merchants, and other citizens of Rokurou. These commoners have significantly less power than their rulers but are still an important part of everyday life in Rokurou.   Adherence to honor and discipline lies at the heart of Rokurou's feudal society. Members of each caste are expected to respect the Shogun and their fellow citizens, as well as uphold the laws prescribed by the Shogunate. Failure to do so can result in severe consequences.   Despite its hierarchical caste system, Rokurou is a peaceful land where everyone plays an important role in a unified society. The Shogunate of Rokurou is a testament to its commitment to order, harmony and strength.   In addition to its unique political structure, Rokurou also benefits from its rich cultural heritage; art and literature are highly valued within the Shogunate, with festivals frequently taking place throughout the year for citizens to enjoy. With such strong traditions that have been passed down through generations, it is no surprise that Rokurou has become an influential Shogunate in its own right.   The Shogunate of Rokurou is a land steeped in history and culture, making it a fascinating place to explore and discover new opportunities. From its noble rulers to its hardworking commoners, each person plays an integral role in maintaining the Shogunate’s legacy. It is this spirit of cooperation and respect which makes Rokurou an exceptional Shogunate.   Unfortunately, this Shogunate has been in the midst of a civil war for years. Since the death of the Shogun, many Daimyo have taken up arms and begun to battle for control of Rokurou, leaving countless villages in ruin as armies pillaged resources and conscripted citizens into their ranks. Though pockets of chaos still exist across the Shogunate, many citizens remain hopeful that peace will eventually be restored to Rokurou one day.   The Shogunate of Rokurou is a land with a deep and complex history, where culture, tradition and discipline reign supreme. Despite the current civil war, Rokurou remains committed to peacefully upholding its Shogunate legacy - a testament to the strength of its people and their unwavering loyalty to their Shogun.
